Application/Rules & Regulations

The application and rules & regulations for the Regional and UW Divisions are given below. Both documents are downloadable in pdf format and can be completed in Adobe Reader and saved. Information on deadlines and required enclosures is also provided. The application process for the Regional Division will be administered by the Linford Pfeifer Foundation. The application process for the UW Division will be administered by Dr. Bogard and the UW Music Department.

Regional Division

Application

Applications will be accepted from January 4, 2010 to March 5, 2010. Applications must be postmarked no later than March 5, 2010 to be accepted.
Required materials accompanying the application form are
- documentation of age and residency
- DVD recording of preliminary round performance
- biography of 100 words or less, emphasizing background in music
- application fee of $50
The application is in PDF format and requires Adobe Reader 6.0 or higher. Adobe Reader is available as a free download at www.adobe.com.
The application may be filled out in Adobe Reader, saved, printed, and signed.
Alternatively, the blank application may be saved, printed, and completed by hand.
The application should be mailed with the required materials to:

All applicants will be notified of the results of the preliminary round by April 9, 2010.
An informational packet will be sent to semi-finalists in April, shortly after notification.

University of Wyoming Division

Application

The application process will be administered by Dr. Bogard and the UW Music Department, with eligibility verified by UW.
Applications must be postmarked by October 16, 2009
